ACTION PISTOL/STEEL CHALLENGE

Action Pistol is the Nanticoke Sportsmen's Club activity group that holds our monthly PUBLIC steel challenge competition. Here you will find more specifics on what equipment is needed to participate, when to come and where to go and some general steel challenge information, photos and videos.

when to come:

The third (3rd) Sunday of every month

Registration begins at 8:30AM

Teams will be created at 8:50AM

Event begins promptly at 9:00AM

We typically conclude around 11:30AM

Where to go:

-Nanticoke Sportsmen's Club - Located at 26086 Bethel-Concord Rd. Seaford, DE and use the property map below to locate the Action Pistol Range

what to bring:

5-Pistol - Semi-Auto's - .22 Long Rifle, .380 ACP, 9mm (Preferred), .40 S&W, .45 ACP. Revolvers - All Calibers.

-Ammunition - 200+ rounds of FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) target load ammo for your firearm (250 rounds recommended)

-Holster - You will be drawing your weapon from a holster in the general vicinity of the waist, must cover the trigger, and must safely hold/retain the gun. (No Concealment Holsters)

-Range Bag - We move from stage to stage and it is a good idea to have a range bag to collect your brass and easily allow you to move between stages

-Speed Loader - Recommended but not required

-Drink/Snacks - Our concession stand is NOT open for this event so please feel free to bring any non-alcoholic beverages and snacks

-Registration Fee - $5 per shooter and registration is from 8:30am-9:00am
